#Election2019

The 2019 Indian general election is scheduled to be held in 7 phases from 11 April 2019 to 19 May 2019 to constitute the 17th Lok Sabha across India. In  Odisha the general election is to be held in 4 phases i.e11 April to 29 April.
In district Ganjam the election concludes within 2 phases i.e 11April & 18April.
There are 2 seats for Lok Sabha and 13 seats for state assembly in Ganjam. In this election govt of Odisha imposes some new rules for women empowerment by reserving 33% for women in state assembly seats & Lok Sabha seats.
In the beginning, the majority of the party was Congress then Janta dal then Biju Janta Dal. BJD has been ruling since 2000 it's difficult to overcome BJD by other parties. In the election everything can happen so we have to wait for the result day.
This time the scenario has been changed as BJP is trying to make government in Odisha with the help of chowkidar i.e our PM Sri modiji.
Ganjam remaining a high profile Constituency because CM Naveen Patnaik has been contesting from Hinjili Vidhan Sabha Constituency since 2000 and winning over there with a huge margin.
