TaraTarini Mandir is One of the most famous Adi Shakti Peetha situated in Ganjam. This Temple is located on kumari hill on Raipur village near the silk city Berhampur. The River Rushikulya passes near to the temple. 
As Berhampur is Around 40KM so one can easily visit this place.

To reach the temple from Foot Hill Mainly 3 Options are available 

  • By Road Way  (3KM)
  • By Rope Way  (10Minutes)
  • By Step Way    (999 steps)
Every Tuesday Of Chaitra Month is considered to be sacred  for the worship of goddess Taratarini.
 A huge number of Devotes Offer Hair Tonsure (Mundan) To Goddess TaraTarini This kind of Tradition Continuing for a long time.

As the temple is on the hill so The wind flow is nice. A lot of space is there for relaxing outside the mandir. Such a good place for a visit and the government also improving the environment of this place. Beware of monkeys during visiting this place.
TaraTarini temple had a heavy rush during Chaitra Parba but rest of the year a good number of devotees visit this mandir not only for darshan but also for enjoying the beauty of nature.
